The Great Wildebeest Migration is the largest overland mammal migration on Earth — 1.5 million wildebeest, 200,000 zebra and 350,000 Thomson’s gazelles moving in a 1,800 km loop between Tanzania’s Serengeti and Kenya’s Masai Mara. This relentless cycle of life and death, predation and survival, is broadcast on wildlife documentaries worldwide. Now you will experience it in person.
Our 10-day Migration Safari is timed and positioned to deliver the most dramatic wildlife encounters of your life. The itinerary follows the migration through its key phases — the calving season on the Southern Serengeti plains (January–March), the dramatic Grumeti River crossings (June–July) or the legendary Mara River crocodile crossings in the North (July–October).
