The Lemosho Route 8-Day is one of the most scenic and successful routes on Mount Kilimanjaro. It approaches the mountain from the remote western side, offering a quieter start and excellent acclimatization profile.
This route begins in lush rainforest, crosses the beautiful Shira Plateau, and joins the southern circuit via Lava Tower, Barranco, and Karanga before reaching Barafu Camp. The extended 8-day itinerary allows gradual altitude gain, significantly increasing summit success rates.
Trekkers enjoy diverse landscapes, fewer crowds in the early days, and some of the best panoramic views on Kilimanjaro. The Lemosho Route is ideal for both first-time climbers and experienced trekkers seeking a balanced and rewarding climb.
